ESN promotes intercultural exchange and mutual understanding by helping students discover local traditions, languages, customs and cultural diversity.

ESN Italy is the Italian level of the Erasmus Student Network: a voluntary, non-profit, non-political and non-denominational student network that supports international students in Italy and promotes mobility opportunities through the principle “Students Helping Students”.
ESN Italy coordinates local sections across the country and works to make international mobility more accessible, welcoming and meaningful. Its activities include support services for international students, updated information on exchange programmes, and the continuous improvement of mobility experiences through the perspective of students themselves.

ESN’s work is not limited to events and student services. Through its Causes, the network connects mobility with broader themes that matter for students, local communities and society.

ESN promotes intercultural exchange and mutual understanding by helping students discover local traditions, languages, customs and cultural diversity.

The network supports student mobility and lifelong learning by encouraging young people to access international opportunities and develop through exchange experiences.

ESN encourages more sustainable lifestyles and responsible mobility choices, raising awareness about the environmental impact of everyday actions and travel.

Student mobility should also mean feeling safe, supported and balanced. ESN promotes physical and mental well-being as part of a positive exchange experience.

Through volunteering, project work and international experiences, ESN helps students strengthen personal, organisational and professional skills.

ESN works to widen participation and make mobility more accessible, with attention to underrepresented groups and equal opportunities for students.
